RF Design Engineer
Ref No: MCR/027/013

RF Design Engineer required to undertake technical analysis and architectural design and detailed RF hardware design.

The role will involve both System and Circuit design and you must have extensive experience in hands on development positions working on original designs of analogue and RF circuitry covering VHF and UHF in a formal, quality controlled environment.

Experience of taking products from development into prototype production and supporting manufacture.

For this role you must have experience of some of the following:

• Filter specification and design.
• PIN diode / GaAs switch and attenuator design.
• Couplers, splitters and combiners
• Mixer specification and design.
• Small signal linear RF amplifier design.
• Linear power amplifier design utilising DPD
• Digital drive circuitry and logic, serial com protocol.
• ADS circuit simulator experience.
• RF PCB layout.
• Mechanical housing / thermal consideration.
• Expert knowledge of VNA operation.
• Expert knowledge of OFDM signal generation and analysis
