AWR arrives!
Well it's finally upon us. Are we ready? Do we know what constitutes ready?
It's too early to say but all we can do is enter into the spirit of the regulations and ensure we use our best endeavours to conform.
The regulations appear to create more work for the agencies however if anything they reaffirm the importance of best practise within our sector and further emphasise that communication between clients, candidates and recruiters is essential.
Inspired Recruitment are using the AWR compliance as a further reassurance that clients and candidates are working with an ethical and professional service provider. Inspired feel that all client companies should look to centralising their recruitment operations and also introduce further controls when selecting who they use as their recruitment partner (emphasis on the word partners!) and also the number of recruitment partners they use. PSL's with stringent AWR compliance checks should be the order of the day and is something that Inspired Recruitment will fully embrace.
Inspired Recruitment has set up a dedicated AWR point of contact to help monitor and maintain compliance and to assist both the Recruitment Consultants and their clients in ensuring the information required to conform is received and documented. Inspired Recruitment will be looking to work closely with it's clients HR departments and recruiting managers to ensure compliance at their end and give advice and guidance as part of our added value service.
Full details in relation to the regulations will be available on our site soon although information packs are available on request by sending a mail to awr@inspiredrecruitment.com or calling the AWR team on 0161 488 2889.
We will be calling all clients and candidates over the up and coming weeks to discuss the potential impact the AWR may have on them to ensure that they fully comply.
