Inspired Recruitment proves there are positives within the recruitment sector.

On the back of another record year for profits in 2008 inspired recruitment continues the trend of accelerating growth after its best ever start to a year in 2009.

Managing Director Nick Hardisty attributes the success to an ever increasing demand for a fast and efficient service. “We at inspired have said for years that recruitment is as much about service and performance as anything else. With margins becoming increasingly tight cost is no longer a major factor when influencing clients’ decisions as there is now more parity across the industry for most skills. Clients are now more concerned about finding the right people and from a quality service provider. This saves them time and money and demonstrates clearly that clients are fully aware of the benefits the recruitment sector can provide.”

Inspired’s growth has been predominantly within the contractor sector, a growth which has offset the continued decrease in demand for permanent staff.

Nick Hardisty continues, “Our clients still have deadlines to meet and services to provide. The diversity and benefits a temporary workforce offer is ever more apparent now to clients and candidates and the role of professional and experienced recruitment companies is more important than ever.”

Inspired Recruitment’s confidence appears to be well placed with them currently finalising a contract with one of their key European clients for a further 2 ½ years. The contract which generated 1.8m euros last year has already trebled since the turn of the year and is expected to grow to a turnover of in excess of 6m euros in 2009.

Kevin Moore, Director of Sales suggests, “This agreement shows that the trust we have built up with our clients and candidates is now being rewarded. When there is a lack of confidence in any situation people turn to those they trust for security and guidance. Business is no different. All our key accounts are looking to us for assistance and guidance which we are happy to give wherever we can. This is an approach we adopted in more buoyant times and it is paying dividends now. While other recruiters were more concerned with how much they could squeeze from clients for simply introducing candidates to them, nothing more, we provided a traditional [consultancy] service. Our ability to continue growing at this rate within an economy as unstable as ours shows our philosophy is working and also ensures that inspired recruitment’s reputation and established base for the future will be even stronger when the market strengthens again. Furthermore candidates are any agencies main asset. They again have been treated with contempt and as nothing more than a way to generate cash in better times. Our service has ensured that we have excellent candidate retention thus meaning they are more likely to want to be represented by inspired recruitment than other agencies. A further advantage to Inspired Recruitment.”
